Most consumers will conduct an online search before ever setting foot in a store, so when that search result yields inaccurate information, businesses lose customers! Our Marketing Strategists can help prevent this by manually claiming and updating business information across the web, directories, mobile apps, voice search, and more.
We can claim Google Business Profile, Yelp, Bing, Yellow Pages, TripAdvisor, RateMDs, and Doctor.com. Please contact us if your client has a request to claim their listing on a site outside of these.
Our Marketing Strategists can claim a listing on any one site for your clients, allowing their businesses to rank higher on search engines and get found by potential customers.
Increase your clients’ brand awareness and keep their customers updated in real-time.
Claiming and correcting a listing may take up to 90 days, but most of your clients can start enjoying corrected listings in less than 30 days!
Note: this service requires access to a Gmail account that is associated with the business: username, password, and any recovery information.
They can expect to verify the listing through their selected platform via postcard, phone call, text, or email. They should be prepared to confirm the name, address, phone number, hours of operation, and website of the business. In addition, they may need to be present at the business and able to take incoming calls at the primary business number.
We need access to a Gmail inbox to claim and monitor the listing. We will also use this email address to log in to the listing after it’s claimed.
The claiming process may require us to send a phone call to the primary business line, so it’s necessary to claim the listings with someone present at the business location.
Claiming and correcting your client’s listings can take up to 90 days, but in most cases, they are claimed and corrected within 30 days.
No, the construction of a business must be complete with a permanent address and phone number before the listing can be claimed.
Businesses that are listed with identical addresses and phone numbers may be seen as duplicates of each other. If your client can provide two separate business licenses, they may allow two separate listings.
The listing data includes updating the business name, address, phone number, hours of operation, and website.
For service area businesses, most listing sites will still require a real address. Some sites, like Google and Yelp, can suppress the address, so it is not viewable online.
Tracking numbers cannot be listed as a phone number on the listing. The client will need to provide the local phone number for the business.
If you have more than 10 locations, we are unable to offer multi-location claiming due to restrictions set in place by Yelp.
