What if my client’s Google Business Profile is already claimed?

If your client is the primary owner of the listing, all they have to do is grant us access to the listing for ongoing management. If they are not the owner of the listing, we can work with Google Support to have the listing unlocked. Important Note: This process can take 2 weeks or more to complete, and we cannot guarantee that Google will unlock and transfer the listing.

What types of businesses cannot be claimed with this service?

The following businesses are not eligible for a Business Profile:

  • Rental or for-sale properties such as vacation homes, model homes, or vacant apartments
  • Sales or leasing offices, however, are eligible for verification
  • An ongoing service, class, or meeting at a location that you don’t own or have the authority to represent
  • Lead generation agents or companies
  • Brands
  • Organizations
  • Artists
  • Other online-only businesses
Will you create a profile and cover image for my client?
  • No. You or your client will need to provide the images.
What is NAP data?
  • NAP stands for Name, Address, and Phone. The NAP data is one of the most important parts of your client’s listing. It should be accurate and consistent with the information on their website.
When will my client’s listings be correct?
  • Assuming your client meets all of the criteria to be claimed, the process can take approximately 7 business days.
How do you know what to post on my client’s Google Business Profile?
  • Google Business Profile posts work best for things like promotions or sales. If your client has specific content they would like posted, please inform our team. Otherwise, we will use relevant content from their website to create posts.
How do I send images to the team?
  • You can use the order form to send us the profile and cover image for the Google Business Profile listing. For other images, you can send us an email to listings@yourdigitalagents.com
Is this service available for multi-location clients?
  • Yes, multi-location businesses may purchase this service up to 10 times, for up to 10 locations.
Why is the post limit for up to 10 business locations?
  • Google does not allow businesses with over 10 locations to use their API for GBP posts.
