Through our unique relationship with Google, a Marketing Strategist can verify and claim a local client’s Google Business Profile.

Have Marketing Services get your clients 5x the number of views.

It’s true. The average Google listing that has been well-maintained with a Google Business Profile gets 5X more views than listings which haven’t been claimed by their owners. Source: Google.

Users don’t simply look things up on the internet, they Google it. And it all starts with having a local business found on a Google Business Profile. Through our unique relationship with Google, a Marketing Strategist can verify and claim a local client’s Google Business Profile. If applicable, they’ll also connect their Google Business Profile Insights to the platform, so regular reporting can be delivered via email to the client.

Through this service, the client will receive:
  • Their Google Business Profile listing verified and claimed by a Marketing Strategist.
  • Full ownership over their Google Business Profile listing.
  • A connection of their Google Business Profile listing to the platform.

Note: there are a handful of restricted businesses that cannot be claimed with this service. This includes service area businesses, businesses with their Google Business Profile listing already claimed, and a list of 12 various types of businesses. Read our Listing Requirements brochure for more information. English language only.

Why does my client need a Gmail account?
  • We need to verify your client’s Gmail account in order to add their email as an owner to the listing.
Can service area businesses be claimed?
  • Yes, they can be claimed. Sometimes it will have to be claimed through manual verification depending on the options Google gives us. Postcard, phonecall, text, or email are the most common forms of verification.
What if my Google Business Profile is already claimed?
  • We can work with Google Support to have the listing unlocked. Important Note: This process can take 2 weeks or more to complete, and we cannot guarantee that Google will unlock and transfer the listing.
